Welcome, you’ve landed at the page of singer-songwriter-musician Bobby James Kroha. I perform musically as the artist M.U.R.P.H., honoring an old friend.

My earliest memories recollect the joy music provides, the happiness it spreads, and the healing that it brings, and throughout my life, I have never strayed far from this dynamic, vibrant life source.

When I write, I try to harness that energy, to convey musically, the emotions that my heart is saying my soul needs to bare. The resulting vibes become my songs, stories that touch on those commonly shared elements we all experience and share, relationships and life situations. This site will promote that music.

But there are other sides to me than just my music, so this will also be where I share thoughts, opinions, stories and photos on this journey as a songwriter. A behind the scenes kind of thing, with the stories and reasons behind the songs that you hear, the music that I create and play.

I am a firm believer that everything in life happens for a reason, and figuring that out is half the work. Once you do, you owe it to yourself to apply that knowledge, so that all the parts of your life are harmonious.

That's when your heart can sing, and that's what makes the music real!
